The Hayes Foundation considers grant requests to enable capable Rutland County students to participate in selective activities during the school year. These activities may be established programs or self-designed projects. Organized school activities, class trips, music lessons, etc., are not eligible for funding. SCHOOL YEAR GRANT applications are reviewed on an on-going basis at the Board’s meetings, usually in September and January. As with Hayes SUMMER STUDY grants, first priority is given to applicants who have completed Hayes SUMMERWEEK programs.
